It’s clear that the education is a basic human as well as a precondition for any serious effort to return peace, prosperity, and justice to Somalia citizens on lasting basis.
The collapse of the Somali state and the subsequent civil war(s) from 1990s have altered most aspects of Somali lives ; but they have been particularly devastating in the area of education, where an entire generation has lost out on one of the most precious opportunities of childhood and Adults. The restoration of regular schooling and universities are critical if Somalis expect to survive the present upheaval and envision a hopeful future.
Education can provide structure and stability for children even Adult who have been traumatized their education by the war.
It is the starting point for creating a skilled workforce that can compete in the global economy. Education fosters the intellectual discipline necessary to solve problems, and the civic virtues essential for good governance. Good education can help reduce gender inequalities, child or Adult exploitation, and the chance of future violence in the wider society.
The scheme of launching the JOBKEY University was put an advanced by a group of intellectuals and other Diaspora People. After more than three year investigation and consultancies, the name JOBKEY was announced and became operational in August 2011.

Jobkey University has recognized three Principles:
1. To encourage the participation of older adults in all the core activities of the university, including educational and research programmes.
2. To ensure that the university’s research agenda is informed by the needs of an ageing society and to promote public discourse on how higher education can better respond to the varied interests and needs of our graduates.
3. To promote intergenerational learning to facilitate the reciprocal sharing of expertise between learners of all ages.

You will succeed if you have a positive attitude, believe in yourself, build positive habits, make wise choices, set and achieve goals, use your imagination and persist. The last of these seven keys is the important one here. Persist. Keep working toward your goals and dreams, and you will become a career success.
